The Business

A large multi-national blue chip player looking to rise to the number one spot in their given sector. They have achieved their dominant market position through solid business planning and high quality products that can be found in the retail, foodservice and wholesale channels. Even though they boast a sizable UK workforce they have a reputation for developing within, ensuring their workforce are some of the most well-rounded in the FMCG sector.

Through a recent internal restructure they are looking for a Trade Revenue Specialist to join their Out of Home marketing team.

The Role

The Trade Revenue Specialist will be responsible for the collation and analysis of several different internal and external data sets to create coherent recommendations which will maximise existing trading opportunities. The role will also encompass price and promotional strategy analysis to ensure maximum efficiency during promotional campaigns.

Being the Out of Home sector the data will come from a number of sources, wholesalers, hotels and HORECA customers along with internal sales data. All of these disparate sources will need to be analysed to ensure valuable insight can be understood.

The Person

The ideal candidate would have knowledge of the Out of Home sector (especially working with Brakes/Bidvest along with key wholesalers) in an FMCG environment. They will be fully confident in manipulating and analysing data from various different sources, perhaps having a background in finance or category analytics.

Personally, they will be bright and entrepreneurial willing to come up with alternative solutions to difficult problems. They will be willing to progress with ample internal opportunity to learn new skills and experience different areas of the business.
