Part of a €650m Pan-European food business, Valeo Foods UK – the owners of Rowse Honey- is a highly successful business with a reputation for being the UK's no1 spreads brand.  We are the experts in honey with impressive category leadership credentials.

The Company is embarking on an exciting period of growth as it builds upon the resources of the group and enters new categories. Our business is well invested in above-the-line marketing, NPD, manufacturing and operations and, most importantly, our people.

Following the appointment of a new Sales Director, we are looking to recruit an outstanding high calibre Senior National Account Manager. This high profile role will report directly to the Sales Director and will have strategic and full P&L control.

In addition to your account management role, you will be capable and energised to develop broader commercial responsibilities in the future – delivering ambitious organic growth objectives as well as growth through planned acquisitions.

Having been well trained in modern FMCG Commercial management within recognised major branded or brand and own label companies, you have gained substantial experience and can demonstrate a track record of profitable sales growth in Top 4 Grocery Multiples. Your experience should include a strong understanding of JBP management and high levels of commercial acumen.  Highly polished category insight abilities that build effective customer led business solutions are a must.

You are customer focussed and thrive on working cross-functionally, both internally and externally.   Developing highly effective relationships through your gravitas and personality, you will have the energy and resilience to achieve commercial, team and personal goals.

This role is home based with a requirement to attend the Oxfordshire based head office circa 2 days per week in line with business requirements.

If you feel you have what it takes to make a success of this highly challenging and rewarding role as well as the potential and ambition to further develop your future career up into a more senior commercial level, please apply to our retained recruitment consultant mark@smithcarey.co.uk quoting reference number MS/1822 and providing details of your current salary and benefits package.

All direct and third party applications will be forwarded to SmithCarey.
