The parent company Le Duff Group operate across 90 countries worldwide owning over 1600 bakeries and restaurants under bands such as Brioche Doree, Mimi’s Café, La Madeleine. Bridor represents a €600m share of the parent company. Established in Brittany, France in 1988, the business has become a recognised supplier to the Retail, Hotel, Restaurant and travel sectors. Bridor has built a unique reputation in the world of gastronomy with its Le Notre range, used by some of the best chefs in the world, and is also a partner of prestigious events such as the Bocuse d’Or and the Roux Scholarship.

Within the UK Bridor have a trading history over 20 years supply their high quality products into the Retail, Foodservice Wholesale and End User customers. Following strong growth both globally and within UK Bridor are looking to appoint a number of Business Development Managers to further drive their presence across the UK.

Role

To further build their presence within the market and capitalise on previous success they have launched a global initiative to increase their regional sales teams in all markets, ensuring that all current customers receive best in class service and account management, whilst maximising the opportunities to penetrate the market further. In accordance with this strategic decision, the UK business has created a number of new regional focused business development roles.

As a business Development Manager you will be responsible for driving profitable growth within a defined territory. Working closely with the National Account Managers as well as the wider Bridor sales and innovation team you will be responsible for developing successful and profitable relationships with existing customers including Hotels, Restaurants, Cafés and Bakery Distributors. In addition, this role will have a large focus on developing new business opportunities within your region in line with the UK strategy.

Requirements

The successful candidate for these positions will have a proven track record of developing sales and building strong customer relationship within a Regional Account Manager position. Experience of working for a food manufacturer is essential as well as possessing a real passion for premium food products. You will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills in order to build relationships internally and with your customers.  You will be an organised individual with the drive, motivation and passion to achieve sales and thrive on over delivering against targets.
