Job Details
An excellent opportunity has arisen within an established food client, currently a Top 20 grocery brand in the UK, who are seeking a Brand Manager to join their dynamic team in the West Midlands (accessible from the North West).
Educated to a degree level, ideally within business or marketing, you will have proven experience in a marketing role with an understanding of operating within a commercial environment. The successful Brand Manager must have demonstrable experience of delivering food innovation and will be able to drive the strategy to grow brand penetration to increase profitability. You must have brand development gained from the retail/leisure or food sector and a passion for marketing, excellent stakeholder management and thrive in a fast paced customer centric environment.
Skills: product development, communications skills, packaging development, analytical, commercial, ability to lead multiple projects, strong eye for detail, passion for customer, excellent leadership and man management skills and influencing skills, budget management.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop the 3-year marketing strategy for your area of responsibility.
• Execute the above strategy by leading projects including launch of new products.
• Manage day to day cross functional relationships and start influencing decisions at marketing leadership team level.
• Accountability for the brand budget management and for the performance of your area of responsibility.
• Develop creative briefs, lead research and input into creative development of print advertising.
• Analyse sharply brand & market information that are presented or sent to the whole company and/or the UK board and/or the Group board.
• Be the brand ambassador by presenting internally to the sales team and externally to retailers.
Key Skills & Experience
• Hold a degree level or equivalent qualification (2:1 or above).
• Strong leadership skills.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Capacity to embrace and create change.
• Great team player capable to support, to lead, to care and to tell the things as they are.
• Passion for winning.
