Job Details
As an Interim Sales Manager, you will be working closely with Technical Sales Engineers across the UK. You will be reviewing and understanding current sales processes. You will then be working with the business to implement a strategy and to help improve systems. You will act as a consultant in making recommendations and offering commercial expertise.

Description
As an Interim Sales Manager you would have a proven track record in project managing change. Ideally you would have worked with engineers and for an industrial manufacturer. You will be able to review current process and make recommendations to help implement new systems. Experience of change management is essential.
- Introducing a targeted prospecting culture and increasing existing conversion rates.
- Reviewing sales targets and commission schemes to ensure optimum results.
- Establish standard operating procedures and documents around customer relationships and work handovers.
- Managing and coaching a diverse location team of sales staff
- Developing team sales skills to match customer need with targeted proposals reflecting the whole business proposition.
Profile
- A proven track record in delivering a project/ interim assignments
- Strong people management skills
- Recent experience of change management within a sales team.
- Proven sales & negotiating experience
- Ability to lead, coach & motivate others
- Ability to work under own initiative.
- Ideally a background in technical sales, engineering, manufacturing or construction
