Senior Brand Manager
Due to the continuing growth and success of our award winning, Sunday Times Fast Track 100 business, we now have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Brand Manager to join our fast paced and ambitious team. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has passion and strong commercial capability.
Reporting directly into the Managing Director or Intamarque you will be responsible for developing and implementing brand assets and creating brand standards, supporting operational brand requirements, driving revenue and returning profit and value to the business. Implement short and medium term strategic brand planning based on a clear understanding of consumer needs and brand equity.
Key Tasks:
- Contribute to the preparation of annual budgets and Operating plans.
- Ensure the effective financial management of income and expenditure budgets.
- Ensure the efficient on going planning, monitoring and forecasting of all budgets
- Provide accurate on-going data on monthly performance
- Ability to identify consumer insights and explore opportunities for innovation
- Sourcing competitive estimates from Suppliers and negotiating final costs
- Strategic Management – develop and implement strategies to sustain and grow revenue, increase market share and improve efficiencies
Essential Experience & Skills
- Experience working at a Brand Management level essential.
- Previous work preferably with cosmetic or lifestyle brand / company. (Fragrances, skin care, fashion etc)
- Led the development and launch of new products / brands within cosmetic, retail, lifestyle or pharmacy.
- Proven ability to turn consumer insights into relevant marketing opportunities
- Sales execution experience – in store strategies, POs and retailer education programs
- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to drive complex projects through various business partners and stakeholders
- Team player capable of accepting responsibility in managing resources
- Excellent planning, organisation, time management and presentation skills
- Intermediate to advance in MS Office
- Ability to demonstrate confident negotiation skills
- Ability to build good Business relationships using good interpersonal communication styles and methods to maximise partnerships with business associates.
- Quality Orientation and Thoroughness – Showing concern for completeness and accuracy around tasks.
- Innovative and creative thinking – Ability to identify opportunities for both strategy and practise improvement.
Desirable Requirements:
- Social media brand management experience with company or brand
- Digital marketing experience
- Bachelor of marketing / Business or equivalent
