Job Details

Job Title: National Account Executive, Junior National Account Manager, Key Account Manager
Location: Oxford, High Wycombe
Package: c£40,000, company car, bonus + benefits


The Company:
Our client is a global, US based food manufacturer, with instantly recognisable household name brands. Their European headquarters is based to the west of London.

The Opportunity:

• Full responsibility for Coop and other convenience retailers
• Achievement of sales and profit targets (NSV and OP), effective management & implementation of customer P&L’s
• Developing and implementing a clearly defined channel strategy for Convenience
• Agreeing and implementing individual account strategy aligning company and retailer strategies
• Support the National Account Managers in the management of a Top 4 Grocer, including the management of the P&L, pricing and promotions and input into category strategy
• Ensure that negotiations with accounts for fiscal terms and profit levels are well planned agreed and budgeted, and ensure all activities are effectively planned and executed with excellence
• Work with appropriate internal teams (category management, marketing, supply chain) to ensure execution of agreed plans

You:

• Business related degree or equivalent
• Strong track-record in FMCG sales within the either the Grocery or Convenience Channels with a recognised FMCG organisation
• Current experience of exposure to buyer level – either as an existing National Account Executive or a Key or Regional Account Manager
• Entrepreneurial and passionate about food
• P&L understanding and disciplined commercial reporting
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Proven customer management skills
• Strong written and verbal communicator
• Driven and self-motivated with appetite to build strong internal/external relationships
• High levels of integrity and trust demonstrating strong ethics and values.
