My client now has a vacancy for a General Manager to join and lead their teams based in Edinburgh.

My exclusive client is a well established high value retailer operating in the luxury goods sector.

Description

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well established business, which is performing exceptionally well. The General Manager will be responsible for leading the teams and ensuring maximum revenue across 2 stores in Edinburgh. This will involve managing, coaching and motivating a headcount of 32.

Profile

The successful General Manager will have the following demonstrable skills:
  • Exceptional retail management skills, including people management and business development.
  • Proven track record in retail management, whether that be multi or single site, both will be considered.
  • Experience within high value retail would be preferred but not essential, other backgrounds will be considered as overall experience and cultural fit is the top priority.
  • Strong appreciation and importance placed on the customer journey.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and lead at all levels of the business.
  • Someone who considers themselves as a results driven, leader of people with an adaptable management style depending on the situation that arises.
  • Passionate about their career and that of their team with the foresight to develop staff and business.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work well under pressure and prioritise workload.
  • Ability to listen, acknowledge, and assess relevant information.
  • Commutable to Edinburgh city centre.


Job Offer

Basic salary up to £50k DOE + Bonus + Pension + Healthcare
