International Business Development Manager                                                                                         
Company Description:

A British based Audio Manufacturer of car, home and lifestyle products are looking for an experienced International Business Development Manager to support the development of existing accounts and expansion of their business within specified territories 

Job Description:

In the role of International Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for hitting our global sales goals in several commercially active markets which include but are not restricted to: UK, Asia, and Australia, as well as other countries which are launching in Q1 2017.

We have a range of patented, exciting new wearable tech based products to bring to market, and you will play a central role in developing ideas, launching into new territories and creating new ones.  Areas of interest are advertising, sales, fashion and the consumer electronics industry.

You are a highly experienced sales leader, able to demonstrate you have successfully overseen multiple sales pipelines in many countries at a regional level to great success.

You are also a highly experienced manager, with the ability to build and motivate teams, and instill the company’s dynamic, entrepreneurial culture.

You will be reporting to the Head of the Consumer Electronics Division.

Day to day responsibilities:

  • Take full responsibility for hitting sales goals in each country
  • Work very closely and support the Head of CE, Agents and distribution partners in their attainment of sales goals.
  • Build world-class sales process and reporting.
  • Ensure all teams are well organized, understand and follow process and are well trained.
  • Ensure all team members have the very best in sales enablement materials and that these materials are consistent globally.
  • Maintain a highly communicative approach ensuring changes to process or approach are well considered, and well communicated.
  • Develop go to market strategies for new territory launches including extensive travel where necessary.
  • Develop highly accurate forecasting for each market that is reported to the company Board of Directors and CEO.
  • Provide strong leadership with high integrity.
  • Be skilled in managing multiple languages with all the operational complexity this brings.
  • Take new products and services to market globally.
  • A willingness to do whatever is needed as part of a fast growing team, from little details to the big picture. 

Qualifications and Experience 

  • A love of deal-making and commercial execution
  • A willingness for international travel and sometimes unsociable hours
  • Highly process orientated

  • Naturally curious person – you love to understand how businesses are run, and how things work in the world around you. 
  • Strong desire to coach, mentor, and train. 
  • Impeccable communication, written and presentations skills. 
  • A” jump through walls” mentality to getting things done. 
  • Degree educated or equivalent
  • Full UK Driving License.
  • Fluent English.  A second fluent language would also be beneficial.
  • Experience of attending and exhibiting at international trade shows.
  • Experience of working in International business, with European, Asia and Australian business dev experience. 
  • Experience of working within the Consumer Electronics, Fashion or Gadget Industries.
  • IT Literate- Excel, Word, Power Point.

Hours 9am – 5.30pm Monday to Thursday. 9am – 5pm Fri with flexibility required.

Extensive International travel.

Benefits include 20 days’ holiday per year plus Bank Holidays.

Package: Basic £48,000, with OTE of £80,000 plus benefits.

Office Based preferably, although would consider home based for right candidate. (There will be a minimum of 1 week per month required in Midlands based office required).
