Category Analyst

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an exciting FMCG business in a Category Analyst role based in central London.

This company have a range of leading brands, and are looking for a Category Analyst to support the category function across the category strategy, range review and pricing.

Your responsibilities as a Category Analyst:

• Maximise the sales potential of your category through ensuring a shopper focussed approach that benefit the shopper and the retailer.
• Work with stakeholders in recommending range assortment and merchandising proposals in line with the customer business plan by reviewing market and space performance.
• Influence the retailer's Buying and Merchandising teams through range, merchandising and category principles.
• Provide insight and tracking for instore promotional activity

To apply for this Category Analyst role, you will demonstrate the following skills:

• Hands-on experience working with blue chip retailers or FMCG businesses
• A strong analytical background and knowledge of agency data for example, Kantar, Nielsen, IRI, Dunnhumby
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, dealing with senior stakeholders
• Degree or equivalent
