Corporate PR Manager

A new and exciting opportunity to join the team of a global consumer goods business as a Corporate PR Manager in the Corporate Affairs team.



The business has a broad portfolio of brands in the UK targeting different demographics. The Corporate PR Manager position is a new role that will see you establishing strong positive relationships with the news media, consumer groups, community organisations and others who are in a position to impact the company's public image.



The main responsibilities of the Corporate PR Manager are to:

· Implement PR campaigns after determining that media exposure would be effective.

· Write Press releases and communications.

· Co-ordinate insight and tracking and provide stakeholders with regular updates.

· Management of CSR campaigns

· Manage agencies

· Being the lead contact for Social Media

· As part of the UK team, support the global campaign focussed on children and teenagers in terms of monitoring and increasing presence and awareness in the UK

· Provide assistance in preparing speeches letters, and articles

· Work with Marketing to activate a PR calendar to support key launches



The key requirements for the Corporate PR Manager are:

· Previous experience in a corporate PR or communications role with an agency or in an in-house role

· Previous roles either Account Manager/Senior Account Manager or equivalent

· Graduate calibre

· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

· The ability to work with different stakeholders as part of a complex business
