Paul Nyman Consultancy are currently working to recruit a National Account Manager for one of the country’s leading manufacturers who are home to a number of well-loved brands that stock fridges across the length and breadth of the country.

Innovation plays a large part in our clients’ development process, and the trend towards food on the go and convenience food concepts is one they are well placed to capitalise on.

The Role

Our client currently seeks an ambitious National Account Manager to join them within their Delivered Wholesale/Convenience channel. The role will come with full ownership of the P&L and the remit to build a strong enduring joint business plan. Internally you will operate cross-functionally with a number of departments including the Category, Marketing and Finance teams and will utilise relevant data to drive both internal efficiency and external performance. Typically the role will require you to spend 2 days per week at their offices in Greater London.

The Person

You will be educated to graduate level and have National Accounts experience within FMCG, experience of both branded and own-label experience would be a benefit but necessarily essential. Within this experience you will need to demonstrate an ability to form relationships and to have delivered business plans and price increases. On a personal level you will be pro-active and be comfortable making your own decisions with a combination of creativity and pragmatism.
