A unique opportunity has arisen for a Market Strategy and Planning Manager to join a blue-chip FMCG business based in London who are looking to strengthen their sales team.



Our client boasts an enviable branded portfolio, available across retail and foodservice channels internationally and is widely recognised for their dedication to quality and innovation.

As a MS&P Manager you will be accountable for meeting the brand/commercial objectives and the day-to-day delivery of your designated brands customer plans.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage and own the full p&l for your specific brand(s)
  • Execute and develop key strategies to increase profitability across brand
  • Successfully manage the communication between brand, sales, marketing functions
  • Implement the NPD process
  • Delivering all pricing and promotional activity
  • Acting as a clear liaison between key brand and sales teams
  • Communicating cross functionally between internal divisions (brand, shopper marketing, finance, category)
  • Analysing competitors and understanding of retail environment

 


Applicants must be of graduate calibre and possess strong business acumen. You will be highly analytical with an ability to develop key insights from data. Ideally you will have 2-3 years experience in a similar branded FMCG business. You must have had full p&l responsibility and managed a JBP. This would suit an experienced National Account Manager however we are open to speaking to Category managers with some sales exposure.
