Job Details
One of the UK’s largest food manufacturers is seeking an entrepreneurial Junior International Account Manager to build robust and productive customer relationships as they confidently deliver on sales, spend and profit targets. Based within the busy, International team, your role will be exciting and highly rewarding.
You will have ample scope to develop your skills and impress in a role that will see you manage a number of indirect customers based in Europe and the UK, and deliver invaluable selling tools (such as product catalogues, NPD sell decks and mix information) to the Sales Team. There will be a small amount of International travel.
Your additional responsibilities:
- Forecasting sales and controlling internal spending.
- Devising and delivering compelling category plans.
- Tracking and monitoring progress against plans.
- Recommending corrective action and strategic changes where necessary.
- Securing distribution and activity plans for our client’s brands in all allocated customers.
What our client is looking for:
To succeed, you’ll have experience in blue chip FMCG, with expertise in account management basics – including forecasting and trade spend management. Action-oriented and IT savvy, you will also have a proven track record working effectively with customers and their systems, negotiating and forging relationships at a buyer level, and building compelling selling stories.
Willingness to occasionally travel abroad is also essential, while experience of working internationally, with third party partnerships and in new business development is desirable.
