Operations Manager / Supply Chain Manager

Operations / Supply Chain Manager

We’re looking for a overall operations superstar - a cool, calm and collected problem solver first and foremost. You will have at least 2 years experience working in an FMCG business, working across various elements of and end-to-end supply chain. We need to you to be super organised, have amazing excel skills, enjoy the social interactions of a small team and be able to communicate brilliantly externally. 

In other words, we are looking for a one in a million rock star! No pressure :)

Your experience can be quite broad and general, or equally you might be a rock star at demand planning. Ideally you will have a strong focus on production planning, forecasting, procurement and logistics. WE WOUD LOVE SOMEONE WITH A CHILLED SUPPLY CHAIN BACKGROUND!

What you must be is driven, committed and able to function in a tight knight team where the comradery  is as important as the commercials. 

Reporting to Head of Operations, you will be managing the UK ops and logistics for 2 production sites across 3 different product categories. The scope of responsibility and growth potential from this role is enormous and yours for the taking. All you need to to be a hard grafter and a ready problem solver.

As the Supply Chain Manager, we need you to be the don of anything that is "Made" or "Moved" by the business!

Key areas of focus are:

Demand Forecasting

• Working with the Sales and Marketing teams you will be required to anticipate and schedule on-going demand for our products. 

Stock Management and Customer Ordering

• Along with the support of the ops/finance exec, the supply chain manager will be responsible for the purchasing of stock, both finished and raw materials - across all aspects of the business.
• The supply chain manager will be responsible for making sure that the exec is collecting and processing of customer orders on a daily basis.

Supplier management

• Day to day support for the Head of Ops in the management of all our operational suppliers including our producers, packers and logistics providers.

Continuous Improvement 

• As a young business its a constant process of evolution and the improvement of all  systems - and the Supply Chain manager will be responsible for making sure all systems can deliver on the requirements for appropriate operational control.
