We are working on behalf of a highly regarded family owned business that is looking for a high performing retail manager to take control of their farm shop.

Did you actually want to be a retailer? So many people fall into the profession and lack the passion it takes to succeed. What we are looking for is someone who has a plan, someone who wants to progress and take control of the running of a business. The business is undergoing a dynamic change that will help position it for the future and you will be a manager that relishes the sound of that challenge.

The Role

This is an established farm shop with a great team, loyal customer base and potential to grow! Perfect!
We need someone with the ability to not only manage what we have but what we are going to have.
The farm shop is filled with local produce as well as some more hard to get items that make it's offering unique.
However ever we need someone who is going to be constantly looking for the next big thing so buying should be part of your repertoire.
We'll help you accomplish all this with complete management buy in to the end goal.

The Candidate

You'll have to be a retailer committed to excellence and we want you to prove it! We are looking for someone with a record of achievement, maybe you're currently managing a shop that is a centre of excellence or your job is a garden centre manager who has tripled turnover. Whatever it is, we're excited to hear from you.
Needless to say, food is a big part of this job and a love for it is even more important as you'll have to communicate this obsession to the staff and customers! Speaking of which…
