Territory Sales Manager

£25k-£30k + additional benefits

Buckinghamshire/Milton Keynes/Northampton Area

Due to growth and expansion the business are now in a position to recruit a Territory Sales Manager covering an established account base across the Buckinghamshire/Milton Keynes/Northampton area.

Duties include:

  • Capture orders for existing customer accounts, negotiating better sales, space and deals whenever possible
  • Maximise merchandising in store to make the best of allocated space
  • Manage client relationships, presenting T&M in a professional light, delivering high-quality service at all times
  • Proactively research new business opportunities and generate leads
  • Call, visit and close deals with new leads as well as existing customers
  • Meet KPI targets, striving at all times to exceed them
  • To promptly and efficiently process new account set ups and communicate issues with relevant departments
  • To prepare and provide sales reports, analysing results and providing commentary accordingly
  • To prepare and provide competitor monitoring, providing commentary accordingly
  • To implement efficient route plans in order to achieve performance targets whilst managing costs appropriately
  • To liaise with allocated merchandisers to ensure service delivery and customer satisfaction 
  • Proactively and positively seek solutions and ideas to improve on process and product ranges
  • Positively contribute to sales meetings

Essential Experience:

  • Previous Territory/Area Sales experience
  • You must live within Buckinghamshire/Milton Keynes/Northamptonshire
  • Garden & Leisure or closely related product experience
  • Experience selling into Garden Centres
  • Merchandising experience would be an advantage but not essential
