Our client are one of the leading distributors of Speciality Products into the Food and Beverage industries; they are renowned for their technical excellence, industry know-how and first class product range.

Our client are now seeking to appoint a Sales & Market Developer to be responsible for growing a portfolio of new and existing customers within the food and beverage industry, providing them with technical support in order to develop new opportunities.

You will be responsible for developing sales and profit within new and existing customer across the North; using your ability to establish and uncover opportunities using your extensive knowledge of both products and your customer base. You will have experience in Technical Food Sales, where you have a proven track record in business development and technical customer support whilst managing complex relationships.

Experience required;

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Working within a Sales/ Target driven environment.
  • Creating and developing customer’s relationships, ideally within the Pharmaceutical or Chemical industry.
  • Manage a high work load and still achieve targets/goals
  • A qualification in Food Technology, or similar, would greatly support your application.
