An exciting opportunity is available to lead the shopper marketing agenda across Tesco and Morrisons.



The individual will need to be able to demonstrate the following:

  • A sophisticated understanding of customer data and segmentation, prior experience of working with retail specific systems such as Dunnhumby or Aimia would be beneficial.
  • Can show examples of successful shopper campaigns and the insight that led to this approach, displaying the metrics ROI and KPI's that proved the success.
  • Has a detailed understanding of the retail marketplace and can show how this can be used to deliver change in the customer.
  • Experience of multichannel campaigns across main store, convenience and online.
  • Can show examples of digital campaigns and their effectiveness at growing branded share and penetration.
  • An influencer who can gain buy-in across the business for the customer agenda, can work cross functionally with brand marketing and category teams to lead category transforming initiatives.
  • Your ability to manage projects across the Arla matrix, delivering the customer objectives, building support for the customer agenda and successfully landing growth driving initiatives all need to be shown.
  • An ability to tailor category strategies into exciting customer differentiated plans is essential.
  • Strong analytical abilities to work with the business managers on promotional effectiveness and shopper campaigns delivering strong ROI.
  • A high energy proactive individual is needed to deliver against the opportunities we have across the customer.


Applicants will have a strong background in FMCG or Retail marketing, the ability to work within a global matrix organisation and build exceptional relationships both internally and with our customers.
