Merchandising Executive

£multi-million and multi-national food national food manufacturer based West Midlands seeking a Merchandising Executive.

Our client is a blue-chip (branded & own label) food business and are the leaders in their food categories. On their behalf we are now recruiting for a Merchandising Executive to work in line with two Top Four Grocery Multiple Retail Accounts

You will develop and utilise shopper insights to create shopper optimal merchandising plans.

Some of the responsibilities of this role include:

• Insights creation for development & execution of best in class merchandising plans
• Ensuring first class plans are activated effectively by optimise sales, availability & shopper behaviour metrics through best in class fixture layout
• Managing all planogram requirements for all accounts including trials, range reviews etc
• Measuring and tracking activities in-store across customer & sales metrics
• Evaluating ROI on all activity & providing recommendations to optimise future planning
• Understand & Manage each retailer's timeline for range reviews to enable feed in of recommendations relating to planograms

To be successful in this role you will be:

·            Retail or FMCG manufacturer experience

·            Worked in either a Merchandising, Shopper/Customer Marketing, Brand/Insight or executionally focussed Sales/Buying role previously

·            Highly numerate

·            Computer literate

·            Good organisation & communication skills

·            Analytical ability & naturally inquisitive

·            Ability to present data and insights in a concise and insightful manner
