More than just your typical ABM role!

This exciting FMCG business is at the forefront of the UK grocery market and is a frontrunner in category, leading the way in innovation and development which is heavily backed by it’s owners.

Working across multiple categories, this role will lead the development and delivery of NPD projects including competitive market evaluation, recommendations for future category strategies and work together with cross-functional teams in addition to external suppliers and marketing agencies. You will manage the brand positioning within new and existing ranges whilst identifying competitor and market trends using customer insights to assist development of a clear branded product innovation pipeline. Managing and delivering marketing projects, you will be responsible for packaging development and approval, POS material and channel-specific advertising material.

In addition, you will lead and develop the consumer brand experience via the consumer services team by reporting and tracking Consumer Services KPIs to internal stakeholders such as Quality, Operations, Consumer Services and Board members at monthly and quality meetings.

The successful candidate will have the following criteria:-

  • FMCG Brand management experience with strong exposure to NPD
  • Strong project management skills and previous experience of managing multiple projects and cross-functional teams to deliver projects and products to market
  • Must be an influencer with key stakeholders
  • Ability to process and analyse data – market / commercial / product costings
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & remain calm under pressure
  • A solid understanding of the importance of consumer services and how to use the information gained from consumers to further develop the brand and products
  • Good leadership qualities with a passion for solving issues
  • Degree educated
  • Must be able to work in the Midlands / M1 corridor on a daily basis
