Those who have been in the industry will know that the fresh produce industry is one of the most challenging yet rewarding industries to be in. Imagine what it would be like if you could take all of the things you love about it and then do that in Australia! We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced fresh produce Commercial Manager to work in one of the most sort after emigration "capitals" of the world.

The Role

Australia is in a unique position to be able to learn all kinds of lessons from the UK's retail format. They are very keen to replicate all of the good parts from the supply chain and cut back on the areas that have been proven not to work as well. As one of their Senior Account Managers, they will be relying on your experiences of the UK retail industry and to help guide and support the business, as they work alongside the country's major retailers. They have a number of product categories, as you would imagine, so there is lots to go at. As with all produce roles, working closely with their key growers will be a vital part in their overall success. As such, this should always focus high on any agenda.

What you bring to this business

As an experienced Account Manager within the fresh produce industry, you will have seen and learnt a lot. You will use that wealth of knowledge and experience in order to help implement plans within the business and its customers and ultimately maximise the sales opportunities. As well as the commercial experience, a background in procurement would be a big plus, but isn't essential. The key product areas they are looking for would be Soft Fruit, Grapes, Citrus or Salads…but all produce categories will be considered.

They will arrange the visa for you (and your family if applicable!) and help with the cost of flights and initial accommodation. They are committed to making this a long term and worthwhile move for everyone involved and will do everything they can to help you settle into your new surroundings!

Salary: up to £70,000
