Job Details
My client is a market-leader and consistently growing manufacturer within the supplement sector, seeking a technically experienced and ambitious Technical Sales Manager. It is important to have a science based background with the ability to technically understand new product development. This is an office based role with infrequent client visits. This is a fantastic opportunity for career variety.
The Role:
- Heavily involved in bespoke new product development based on clients requirements
- Focus will be on consulting with and developing existing accounts and ultimately securing new business through sound technical and new product development support
- Highlighting and upselling a range based on client requirements and market-trends
- Engage with other departments to ensure all projects are completed on time and in full
- Understand and communicate information and figures, liaising with colleagues and customers
The candidate:
- Technical background in food ingredients, chemicals, pharmaceuticals etc.
- Confident at liaising with clients on a day-to-day basis
- Educated to degree level with preference of life sciences or food science
- Thrives on fulfilling client requirements
- 3 years technical sales experience
- Enjoys and is able to read between the lines of data, in order to provide customers with great service
- Happy to travel where required
What’s On Offer:
£40,000- £55,000 negotiable based on experience + package
