The Role: Targeting new customers, the new Business Development Manager will be responsible for selling into business and industry, any sector which requires a foodservice solution. Some of your time will also be spent developing new accounts in the retail sector, dealing with museum cafes, tourist attractions, hospitals and forecourts. Speaking to facilities managers and buyers, the successful Business Development Manager will be working on long-term bids and tenders which can range from £50k to £millions.

The Company: Established since the 1930's and with a sales turnover in excess of £500 million, this company is the clear market leader in their sector. They are looking to add an additional Business Development Manager to their team, to sell their full range of foodservice solutions which include menu planning, sourcing food products, cleaning and waste management services and catering supplies.

For this Business Development Manager position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
  • Strong field sales skills
  • You will either have sold a service/solution at a senior level or will have a track record of selling products into the foodservice or facilities management sectors
  • Exceptional listening and opening skills are required
