National Account Manager - Coop & Spar UK

Office based role (Surrey) - 2 -3 days in the office

The role

National Account Manager fully P&L responsible for the Co-Op & Spar UK - the UK's two leading Convenience / High Street chains. The role is to unlock and maximise potential of what could be very profitable accounts. It could suit a NAE looking to step up to a National Account Manager role.

This is one of the most high profile roles in the convenience team due to the complexity of the accounts, a fantastic challenge for someone with excellent commercial and influencing skills.

You will be responsible for building, negotiating and executing JBP's, understanding category data for your benefit, influencing key stakeholders internally & externally.

The organisation

A global player in chilled foods, their brands are well known to everyone and stretch across various store formats. They are a creative business with a strong NPD pipeline. Excellent opportunities are available for progression.

The person

To be successful in this role it is essential that you have the following experience/skills:
  • Commercial National Account Management or Retail Buying experience.
  • Ideally convenience channel experience, Co-Op knowledge would be of benefit.
  • Management of a profit & loss
  • Ability to influence & manage senior stakeholders
  • Good understanding of financial metrics, as well as supply chain forecasting
  • Excellent communication skills
