Job Details

This is an opportunity to join a growing branded FMCG Consumer goods business that has seen some significant investment over the course of the last 18 months. They are now looking to appoint a National Account Executive or a junior National Account Manager to join their growing team.

Reporting to the Head of Sales and looking after your own accounts across some recognised retailers, you will take full P&L responsibility for those accounts from the start of your career here. It is rare to be given this level of autonomy and this can only benefit your training and development in future years. The ideal candidate will have a background in supporting a National Account Manager at junior level or you may be a National Account Manager looking to further your career. You will be given all the support and training that you require.

The Role:

  • Manage your customer relationships cross functionally and support the sales team internally.
  • Ensure that annual budgets, spend, customer business and promotional plans are managed and delivered in line with customer expectations.
  • Deliver monthly sales targets and KPI’s – Sales, Market Share and Distribution.
  • Attend regular customer meetings.
  • Manage and grow distribution.
  • Launch NPD.
  • Support Above the Line Marketing activity to drive sales.
  • Deliver the annual promotional plan.
  • Work with the category team to build relationships and present on the data.
  • Deliver monthly forecasts.

The Requirements:

  • Ideally a background at National Account Executive level within a branded FMCG environment.
  • Educated to degree level or the equivalent.
  • Commercially astute.
  • Strong relationship builder and team player.
  • IT literate and able to interpret data to make recommendations.
