Catman Jobs are recruiting a Category & Trade Marketing manager for an expanding food business with a UK base in the West Midlands.

The Business

Offering a range of high quality products accross multiple categories this West Midlands based group have ambitious plans to continue organic expansion of their customer base and product range. Due to a recent change in Managing Director the business strategy has taken on a new vision, looking to embrace the strong branded portfolio they possess while continue to offer a strong own label product to the retailer.

The Role

As a result of a targeted growth strategy the business now seek a Category & Trade Marketing Manager capable of picking up the category relationship across all major customers.. Through the use of 'the usual' data streams as well as the skill to use category principles to drive growth in any channel you will be taking on accountability for one of the group’s main strategic focus over the next 5 years. 

The Individual

This is an entrepreneurial, make things happen, don’t get bogged down in process, team orientated culture. You must have the creative flair which will allow you to be adaptable and deal with positive change and occasional uncertainty. You must have an ability to work cross functionally between with sales. The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of marketing ideals with an appreciation of brand management and activation however it is the apperception of category management principles which will set you apart.
