Our client is a dynamic, quirky and forward thinking drinks brand; they pride themselves on the quality of their products, that’s what makes them stand out from the rest! With recent listing within the Grocery multiples they are now looking to drive this brand further. They manufacture a product that is useful yet fun and fit for purpose. As a health related product, there has been significant investment into the science behind these quality products. It’s a place you’ll be given the freedom to make your mark offering the broadest and most innovative line of quality products across the grocery channel. 

Our client has seen significant growth over the last few years since launching, with innovation and the growth within new channels there are plans to double the turnover over the next couple of years then double again!!

The Role
As the successful Business Development Manager, who will report straight into the Commercial Director, will have responsibility for a number of smaller regional accounts across, convenience retailers, universities, gyms, travel & leisure sectors. You will be expected to move forward an already thriving portfolio and then as the accounts develop, our client will be empowering you to fully manage those accounts at a P&L level. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with Key accounts experience, who wants to develop into National accounts and further an already successful career.

The successful Business Development Manager will:

  • Current experience in one of the following roles:  National Account Executive, Key Account Manager, Customer Development Executive, Customer Business Executive, Business Development Manager etc
  • Ideally have current experience of sales (Minimum of 1 year) in a branded FMCG business
  • An ability to communicate effectively and build and maintain strong business relationships at different levels
  • Be a driven sales and results person, with the ability to sustain and drive new business.
  • Willingness to go that extra miles for you customer
  • A tenacious and entrepreneurial approach
  • Ideally be degree educated or equivalent
  • Ideally an Interest in nutrition
     

In return you will receive a salary up to £32,000 plus car allowance, bonus and other company benefits.

This is a field based opportunity in the Midlands area.
