Due to an exciting period of growth I am now looking for a business manager to join the team as a senior member to help drive the business forward and support their ambitious growth plans.

My client who are based in Manchester are a distributor of branded products, operating within a very fast paced environment selling end of line clearance products to the value retail sector. Due to expansion and growth we are looking for a focused, self starter from an FMCG or services background to support the business through this exciting period and expand their presence within the UK.

Description

The Manchester based Business Manager will be responsible for but not limited to the following;

• Expanding the businesses sales power using email marketing software, CRM data base tools, social media and digital marketing.
• Proactively target retail and online businesses, sending deals and offers, negotiating price and closing deals whilst actively developing new business
• Liaise with buyers, marketing and external stakeholders to ensure a continuous flow of stock
• Manage your own diary effectively whilst in the field and in the office
• Attending trade shows and commercial auctions to ensure you are able to offer the most sought after branded products within the market

The ideal Business Manager profile is;

• Manchester based
• Graduate calibre
• 2-5 years commercial experience
• Self motivated
• Results orientated
• Able to communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
• IT proficient and able to present facts and figures to customers in a clear and commercial format

£25,000 - £35,000 basic salary with OTE of £40,000 + Package
