My exclusive client, now has a vacancy for a Business Development Manager (Catering Equipment) to join their team. My client is a high quality, premium manufacturer who operates on a global basis. The role will require travel throughout the Scotland and Ireland territory in order to successfully secure new business whilst managing and further developing the companies current client base of end users such as hotels, restaurants, airport catering, contract caterers and canteens.

Description

As a key member of the commercial team, the Business Development Manager (Catering Equipment) will be responsible for managing the Scotland & Ireland territory; account managing a portfolio of existing customers and generating and developing new business across the region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving set targets whilst increasing the companies profile throughout Scotland and Ireland. Through an excellent work ethic and strong personal performance, the Business Development Manager will ensure that short, medium and long term growth aims are achieved.

Profile

The successful Business Development Manager (Catering Equipment) will have the following demonstrable skills:
  • Proven track record in business development of new business and existing accounts within a B2B field environment, ideally having sold catering equipment or some form of capital equipment.
  • Ability to build strong customer relationships.
  • Confident in presenting both internally and externally at all levels.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Analytic thinking with the ability to understand and interpret data.
  • A motivated, professional and enthusiastic approach to business development and account management.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Ideally based in the Central Belt of Scotland.


Job Offer

£38-45k basic salary DOE + company car + bonus + private health care + pension + phone, laptop, iPad
