Are you a wine lover?

Are you an aspiring wine brand manager?!

Our client is one of the UK’s leading independent wine wholesalers, catering to the on and off trade with a diverse range of big to small names in their portfolio. Being a family owned company with roots historically in the restaurant business, they are passionate about supplying the UK with wines that have character and are meant to be paired with food and good company – at a fair price. Their goal is to grow the business whilst adhering to those values, so they only engage with suppliers who share the same vision. The company culture is very family orientated and they are looking for someone who wants to grow and progress with the business.

As a Marketing Assistant/Junior Brand Manager, your role will involve supporting the marketing team across all its business divisions; mainly supporting the brand managers in all aspects of their daily marketing activities. The role will combine administrative tasks alongside trade and consumer facing activities, with frequent opportunities to organise and take part in tastings and events. The ability to multitask and think on your feet is essential as you will be managing multiple projects. In addition the successful candidate will be given the responsibility to manage some of the smaller brands, which paves the path for progression into a brand manager position as skills develop. The role will work cross functionally with the sales team, brand owners and principals so strong communication skills are required. This is an office based role in central London.

As a successful candidate, you will have minimum one year experience in a relatable sales or marketing role. Must be degree educated. You must be highly computer literate, with good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point and Word) Experience using design packages (Photoshop and Indesign) are a bonus. You will preferably be WSET Level II or higher with a keen interest in the wine industry. Whilst not required, speaking a second language is definitely an asset to this role. The most important perquisites for this role are having strong organizational skills, communication skills and attention to detail.
