Regional Sales Manager

THE ROLE:

We currently have an exceptional opportunity for a Sales Manager to join a highly successful team covering the North of England, Our patch is in a highly established sales area and provides enviable earning potential. The successful applicant will look after and account-manage an existing portfolio of clients with the expectation of securing new business within their area. The split between Account Management and New Business sales will be approximately 80/20 respectively. Typically, this is a field based role where you will spend 4 days on patch and visit our office one day per week or as and when required. Our clients vary from local education authorities, wholesalers, contract caterers, healthcare sector, caterers, shops, restaurants, cafés and hotels.

THE COMPANY:

We are a highly established, Chilled and Ambient Food Service Wholesaler within the North West of England and have been supplying the catering trade with chilled and ambient foods for over 30 years`. Our product range boasts over 600 products creating a one stop shop for all of your catering needs.

THE APPLICANT:

- Candidates will ideally be from a Food Service Sales background, selling into the catering marketplace, especially the education sector.

- Experience within catering and food industry.

- A passionate, enthusiastic and hungry salesperson with a true desire to succeed - Excellent relationship building and communication skills are essential

- Ability to demonstrate a flair for new business whilst maintaining and upselling to our current accounts within a Food Service and a B2B account management environment

- Highly organised with the ability to set your own workload and manage it appropriately - Must be happy to work autonomously and manage your own journey planning.
