The Organisation

A highly exciting opportunity has become available for a Business Development Executive, working in the on-trade channel of one of the most forward thinking spirits businesses in the UK. 

The company boasts a large eclectic portfolio of both premium and mainstream brands and works with a variety of accounts in both the on and off trade channels.

The Role

The Business Developer is responsible for the consumer’s first experience and interaction with brands in the on-trade channel and will be responsible for the brand activation in this sector as well as being a support for brand activation within the National Account Sector.

This BDE will be responsible for implementing sales and to maximise sales revenue and profitability, based on pre-agreed targets. They will seek new business opportunities within existing accounts and new account listings, for brands distributed by the company. The position works closely with the Marketing department to ensure sales are implemented in accordance with brand plans.

The Candidate

You will need at least two years as a highly successful Account Manager in the drinks industry, with extensive experience of the workings of the on trade sector in Scotland plus a good contact base. You will have managed customer accounts to achieve sales and profitability targets with limited budget and be confident Identifying new opportunities and opening new accounts. As a results and profit oriented individual, you will be able to influence change in a positive manner.
