Are you an experienced and passionate Brand Manager from an FMCG background looking for your next contract? CSG Talent has been asked to search for a Brand Manager to join a food manufacturing business based in Leeds.

Looking after a portfolio of well-loved brands that have seen some significant growth over recent years, you will be a champion for the brands. You will develop and execute leading edge marketing strategies that will continue that growth over the short, medium and long term.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver the annual brand plan into the UK market.
  • Lead, direct and champion the brand communication strategy that will ensure growth, market share, brand revenue and profit contribution.
  • Work with the Head of Marketing to develop the NPD strategy.
  • Provide clear directional and inspirational communication to the team and wider business.
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking, creativity of marketing activity and quality of execution.
  • Ensure effective brand and portfolio management to maximise participation, sales and profit.
  • Manage key relationships with all brand agency partners to ensure optimum teamwork and value for money.
  • Develop consumer and trade marketing initiatives.
  • Evaluate return on investment for all marketing activities to maximise effectiveness.
  • Be the recognised brand champion and consumer expert.
  • Management of the marketing budget.

Required Skills and Attributes:

  • Previous Brand Management working with Consumer brands within a food manufacturing environment.
  • Experience of the full marketing mix.
  • A strategic thinker able to develop a clear vision for the brand.
  • Strong communicator and team player.
  • Track record of agency management and relationships.
  • Self-motivated and results orientated.
