Modern Retailing is an Audi UK programme that supports the network to develop and implement initiatives that help to improve the customer experience within Audi centres.

The role of the Senior Operations Project Manager will be to manage the implementation of the Modern Retailing programme as well as a team of four individuals to deliver the Modern Retailing programme objectives.

As Senior Operations Project Manager you will have a strong Project Management / Delivery Experience background from leisure, retail or automotive. We are looking for a dynamic self-starter who has a wealth of experience in successfully improving performance with considerable experience in managing people.  You will be an engaging individual who can inspire others to achieve results and encourage sustainable behavioural change.

Senior Operations Project Manager key duties and responsibilities:

  • Deliver the Modern Retailing strategy & communications plan
  • Management of the team to achieve objectives set
  • Work with internal stakeholders and manage third party specialist agencies
  • Management of budgets
  • Modern Retailing programme governance and framework

The Senior Operations Project Manager will ideally possess the following:

  • Demonstrable experience in transformation / change management success
  • Commercial experience, a sound understanding of business case development, impact on business, KPI’s & profitability 
  • 5 years project management / delivery experience from either the automotive, leisure or retail industries
  • Coaching and mentoring experience coupled with knowledge of coaching models such as GROW
  • Experience in setting SMART objectives 
  • Encouraging sustainable behavioural change
  • Experience of ensuring targets are met / exceeded
  • Experience of skills coaching and operating within a governed environment
  • Experience in performance management of a field based team

All necessary industry training will be completed on induction and in return you will be offered the opportunity to obtain an IMI accreditation in Management as part of a comprehensive personal development plan.
