The company:

A market leading manufacturer of high quality, branded stationery products, our client is a well respected and major player in the stationery industry.

The role:

Working with a long serving team you will be responsible for managing sales to independent retail and online customers as well as key accounts on the area such as Fenwicks, for example across the North of England. Your primary objective will be to maintain an already well established and profitable territory with the objective of maintaining and increasing turnover from existing customers whilst also actively sourcing and open new accounts. Customers will include independent stationers, greetings card retailers, arts and craft specialist retailers, post offices and online resellers amongst others.

The person:

An experienced field sales professional, you will be currently operating within the FMCG sector, be self motivated, driven, organised and results orientated person with a positive outlook. Mature in attitude, trustworthy and comfortable in dealing with buyers. You will have the flexibility to stay away from home as necessary (on average at least once per fortnight).

Experience of the stationery, greetings cards, arts and crafts, toys or related industries will be a distinct advantage.

In addition to the above you will be computer literate, able to use packages such as PowerPoint and Excel.
