Job Details
This role will suit an aspiring Category Manager that has had category executive expereince within a food environment and is now looking to take the next step in their career. The role of Category executive offers genuine ownership and opportunity to work across a number of customers within own label as well as supporting branded activities. This role will work with close support from the Commercial Controller and the Brand and Innovation team but essentially will be the stand alone Category person in the business and therefore offers a great long prospects and the opportunity to develop and grow within the business.
Some of the key responsibilities for this Category Executive will be to support the commercial team with analysis for retail customers, interpretation and manipulate data such as Kantar for the development of category planning, identify growth opportunities, present customer category reviews and conducting regular GAP analysis to support recommendations for new product development.

To be successful in your application you must have an analytic approach and a demonstrable track record of working with data and numbers.
Ideally you will have experience in a food manufacturing business; however my client will also consider category exec experience in a non-food FMCG sector with a genuine desire to move to a foodie business.
