National Account Manager

Role Overview
•    Build and manage trusting relationships with major UK retails through strong levels of communication 
•    Create and implement relevant account strategies in line with the companies objectives
•    Facilitate the growth in existing accounts and source new business through employing innovative sales solutions to deliver value and exceed targets
•    Work closely with the supply chain team through forecasting and delivery
•    Work with the Category Insight Manager to analyse market data and comprise compelling commercial presentations to present to the individual customers
•    Identify and develop NPD opportunities resulting in new business wins

The successful candidate will have:
•    Strong customer relationship management skills including the ability and confidence to sell commercial propositions 
•    Sales experience within the commercial retail sector
•    Ideally a food industry background although other FMCG products will be considered
•    An understanding of category management
•    Proven track record of delivering sales growth
•    A relevant business degree (2.1 or above)
•    Self-reliance, initiative, tenacity, integrity, strong work ethic and the strategic awareness to maintain and promote a high degree of professionalism 
•    Good planning skills and be highly organised with the ability to manage projects across different categories
•    Dynamic and determined outlook with a passion and “can do” attitude
