Our client is an established distributor and wholesaler of an impressive range of premium beer, wine and spirits brands, including it's own portfolio of unique agency brands. In essence, the company offers both direct wholesaling to the On Trade but is also able to act like a brand owner in promoting and developing their own exclusive range of brands.This business is growing rapidly as it invests heavily in the company and looks to grow it's artisan range of products. In order to facilitate continued growth in the premium on-trade sector, they are looking for driven Business Development Executives to develop & manage a selection of premium focused on-trade accounts in several regions to drive the sales and implementation of the on-trade vision and strategy.
Role profile
Our client is looking for Business Development Executives to drive commercial success, customer relationships and strategic development of premium on-trade accounts- groups, independents and specialist retail. The successful candidate will have responsibility for developing strong relationships, new business, account development and excellent sales results.
This is a rare opportunity for professionals currently working in drinks sales to join a business that truly offers breadth, progression and personal development.
What our client is looking for and essential criteria
- Background exposure to working with premium drinks and selling premium brands
- Strong exposure to on-trade sales in the drinks arena is highly preferable, knowledge of mixology or wine is ideal
- Demonstrable evidence of good gravitas, passion, creativity and commercial organisation skills.
- Strong negotiation, organisation and influencing skills to drive commercial success.
- Educated to degree level
