CHANNEL ACTIVATION MANAGER WORKING WITHIN PROFESSIONAL FOOD SERVICES FOR THE LARGEST FOOD AND BEVERAGE COMPANY IN THE WORLD

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Channel Activation Manager will work closely with the National Account Manager to plan new product launches, commercialise that plan then deliver it to the channel
-Working on multiple projects across a variety of different customers
-Ownership and translation of the category plans into channels then execute into different customers
-Extensive customer facing interaction and presentations to truly understand the customer
-Work on all category plans with NAM's to then create them into successful OOH plans
-Work closely with category and NAM's to ensure a joined up approach
-Internally - Work with the internal sales function to ensure they are aware of all upcoming product launches and commercial plans
-Commercial planning meeting in the summer to share the whole of the next years commercial plans
-Translation of a category plan into the customers

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

-Worked in and has experience of work place or commercial channels - In or with all the contract caterers OR pub/club/restaurant
-Previous experience working in a commercial channel such as contract caterers or pubs/clubs/restaurants will be highly beneficial
-Experience of working with a contract caterer in any capacity would be looked on favourably
-Previous experience gained within a Marketing and Category capacity
-Lots of working with creative agencies - Brief them once category plans are in place, then work with them to deliver the plan e.g. direct mail, flyer, A4 advert, samples, bespoke POS
-Creative mind set - Demonstrable experience of thinking outside the box
-Firm and commercially aware - Working with Marketing Managers as the NAM works with category and procurement manager
-Lots of communication and influencing people to link ALL areas together - Category, Marketing, Sales and Procurement
-Initiative and integrity
-Need experience within the channels as other parts can be trained
