To support our expanding business we are currently looking for an experienced:  

Senior National Account Manager (m/f)

As a Senior National Account Manager with the Active Nutrition International Group, you will be tasked with growing profitable sales in the exciting and highly popular sports nutrition category.

You will be responsible for winning distribution with new customers and achieving growth for PowerBar in the Convenience, Forecourt and Grocery Channel’s.

You will play an important role within the UK Team working closely with the Country Manager and Category Manger to unlock new customer growth.

This role will allow you to work autonomously and you will be able to leave your footprint without the challenges of multiple hierarchy layers. 

The role of Senior National Account Manager will involve the following:

  • Responsible for winning business with new customers across Convenience, Forecourts and Grocery Channels
  • Responsible for managing a strategic customer in the UK for Active Nutrition International
  • Responsible for delivering profitable sales growth & growing market share in the Sports Nutrition Category across 'on the go' and 'take home' channel
  • Experienced in opening new accounts, joint business planning, commercial and category-led proposition selling and delivering in-store execution (on and off shelf) with excellence
  • Competent to work autonomously and effective decision maker in solving commercial problems
  • Competent with managing and growing a range of customers
  • Strong and proven negotiator to lock in profitable joint business plans with customers.
  • Manage and deliver the business plan for each customer across Base, Promotion, Event and Terms
  • Manage and deliver monthly planning process and forecasts for each customers
  • Work closely with Category Manager and Country Manager to implement effective 'go to market' strategy to win new business
  • Confident communicator with the ability to deliver detailed and regular feedback to the wider business on the market place
  • Opportunity to build team, if successful in role

  • Experienced National Account Manager with UK Convenience and Grocery Retailers
  • Passion for Sports and healthy living
