Category Manager

An iconic and premier international frozen food business, is seeking a Category Manager to join their expanding team as they continue to grow and develop the UK market across both foodservice and retail. 

This Category Management role is a fantastic opportunity to help shape and implement a new foodservice brand for the UK market as well as create the range from scratch utilising the existing international portfolio of 200 products, with the help of the parent company’s marketing team. Ongoing development of the categories within retail will add further interest, challenge and opportunity to thrive in this dynamic and exciting role!

 You will work closely with a wide range of local functions including Sales and Technical Development as well as Group Marketing, PR and Product Development in the overseas HQ and the international factories from a NPD project management perspective.  In doing so there will be opportunities for international travel.

This role will likely suit a Category Executive ready for the next step up with the ideal candidate having experience of the use of Marketing data (e.g. AC Nielson), category management in FMCG with food foodservice and/or retail customers, good analysis skills coupled with Excel knowledge.

In return you will receive a salary up to £45,000 dependent on experience plus package.
