Commercial Strategy Manager – 6 month contract

Buckinghamshire /Berkshire / Middlesex / Surrey / West London
£50-70k plus bonus

An exciting contract opportunity has arisen to join a growth orientated branded food business. We are currently recruiting a Commercial Strategy Manager on a 6 month contract basis, which has potential to extend beyond. This role has a high level of influence over sales strategy and commercial planning for a leading food brand. You would have ownership of pricing & promotional strategy; channel & account planning process; NPD commerciality; and the leadership and facilitation of cross functional projects & teams.

As a key lead in a matrix structured environment this is a challenging role that requires outstanding leadership and influencing skills across a broad spectrum of stakeholders. We would expect you will have  minimum of 3 years senior account management experience and ideally spent some time in a commercial strategy, category or marketing insight functional roles. In a challenging UK market with an ever increasing focus on driving margin expansion, these high profile roles are becoming increasingly pivotal to business success so we are looking for someone who relishes challenges and has a robust out look.

The company is renowned for developing its people and whilst this initial role is a contract as a growth orientated employer we would expect other opportunities could arise within the contract period. If not the role would offer rich experience and certainly build the CV!
