We’re looking for an experienced Shopper Marketing Manager to join our commercial team at Cereal Partners UK and Ireland, head office in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire

Cereal Partners Worldwide is a joint venture between Nestle SA and General Mills Inc. We are the number two breakfast cereal producer globally, with a strong portfolio of over 50 brands, sales in over 150 countries, 17 factories and employ 4500 people.

Cereal Partners UK and Ireland make many well-loved cereals such as; SHREDDIES, CHEERIOS and SHREDDED WHEAT, plus a wide range of own label cereals. Our aim is simple: to provide high quality, nutritious and great tasting breakfast cereals.

The Role

Through consistently pushing the boundary of success it’s recognised that the next decade will be transformed through aligning the core Trade and Shopper Marketing capabilities with the vision of the category as a whole. 

The business has a strong track record of growing its market leading brands in the UK and in other markets across the world and they have very ambitious plans for the future.  Key to their success will be winning at the Point of Purchase, ensuring they interrupt Shoppers to gain additional sales.

This is a high profile, newly created role that will sit integrally within the Customer Marketing Team.  In this role, you will be responsible for bringing Brands to life within the Retail environment, linking activity back to Customer events, Brand Plans and Category Strategies. 

The successful candidate will

  • Have a proven record of delivery in an FMCG environment; with specific recent Shopper Marketing expertise in the Top 4 Grocers
  • Be able to work collaboratively across internal functions to build and maintain successful stakeholder relationships
  • Be passionate about executing high impact Brand activation that beats their competition
  • Possess effective networking and influencing skills to lead the Agenda with key Retail partners
  • Demonstrate high levels of numeracy to track sales and assess the success of Shopper activity
  • Be driven to succeed with tenacity and resilience
  • Have the ability to think strategically as well as being able to deliver functional expertise day to day
  • Enjoy being part of a high performing Team that constantly challenges itself to improve

Degree educated with proven experience in a Customer Marketing and front line sales role. You will be highly motivated with great leadership skills and have the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. Your ability to persuade, negotiate and present will be invaluable.
