The UK business has a vibrant and exciting local brand portfolio with Nestle Pure Life and Buxton. Our Buxton Mineral Water is one of the purest sources we have within Nestle Waters Global portfolio, taking 5000 years to filter through the earth before rising naturally to the surface. In addition to our local brands we have iconic global brands such as S.Pellegrino and Perrier.

Our offices are located at Rickmansworth in Hertfordshire, within easy striking distance of London and close major transport links. This role is field based and will require a minimum of two days per week in the office.

Our Opportunity:
We have an opportunity to join our Out of Home (OOH) Retail Team as a Senior Business Manager. You will have direct line management responsibilities and will be a role model for junior members of the team, through an engaging and inspiring leadership style. Key areas of responsibility will be to manage the relationship between Nestlé Waters UK and the Out of Home Retail customers, delivering tangible business results driving; volume, profit, market share gains and overall value for Nestlé Waters UK.

Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Develop, implement and execute the OOH Retail Strategy, working in an end to end basis
- Build, negotiate and execute Joint Business Plans with key customers
- Development of direct reports, through a culture of experiential learning, feedback and coaching
- Ability to lead and work in a cross functional team internally, whilst externally building an effective contact strategy within your customer base
- Networking & influencing senior stakeholders, both internally & externally 
- High level of financial awareness and ability to interpret & draw insight from P&L’s
- Forecast accuracy - Volume and Trade Spend
- Ability to understand and use category data to support commercial proposals and highlight areas of opportunity
- Provide effective intelligence on the retail landscape and competitors

You’ll have a solid understanding of category dynamics and will be able to identify opportunities to accelerate growth, coupled with excellent problem solving and negotiation skills. Your ability to have a strategic view of your channel, competitors and the shifting dynamics with the retail landscape will help shape the business strategy.

You:
We’re looking for candidates with a natural leadership style, excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills. Educated to degree level or equivalent you’ll be an excellent verbal and written communicator with a high degree of financial and commercial acumen coupled with excellent analytical skills. A confident individual who has the ability to build and maintain relationships both internally and externally. Working with a true customer intimate mind-set, you will provide the highest levels of service to outperform our competitors. You will naturally be results orientated with a positive can do approach, as well as having a strong focus on people development and a desire to progress through our organisation and build a career within the Nestle Group.

Experience of leading a team and managing budgets is a prerequisite. You will also have experience of Joint Business Planning and working cross functionally with Finance, Marketing, Category and Supply Chain departments. Experience of managing Out of Home Retail accounts would also be an advantage although not essential. What’s key is your ability to develop and execute strategy and add value to the organisation from sales.
