About our Client: 

Our client is a leading supplier of tasty 'food to go' snacks! The company has a range of exciting products and flavours along with branded accessories. These new products are set to exceed consumer's expectations for improved snacking choices. Consumer demand for anytime snacks that are quick, halal and reduced salt continue to drive this company's sales growth. 

About the Role:

This National Field Sales Manager role in this fabulous snacking & 'food to go' company will be managing 6 Business Development Executives across the Convenience and Impulse Channel. This is a National opportunity, therefore the right person will need to be happy driving from Cornwall to Scotland within a week.

The key to the National Field Sales Manager position is to be an enthusiastic and encouraging 'people manager' and someone that excels in setting targets and strives to go above and beyond them. Success in this role depends on an ability to develop a team.

Expectations are sky-high as the SD and MD are passionate about their brands and hugely excited about where this burgeoning category can go next. 

About You: 

  • Field Sales Management experience in FMCG with a good understanding of Convenience and Impulse accounts
  • A passion for the Food, snacking and the Impulse sector
  • Come from a strong FMCG business
  • Effective communicator  - able to negotiate and influence
  • Has a strong sense of individual accountability - able to work with autonomy
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Committed to deliver results, tracking individual goals and objectives
  • Has a flexible approach and adapts to challenges and changing priorities as needed
  • Strong team player
  • Commercially aware with experience in P&L management, budget planning, KPI setting and customer management
  • Creates a positive environment while remaining focused on priorities and tackling obstacles
  • Can motivate a team
  • Most Importantly - bags of personality!
