It supplies some of the world’s leading companies in retail, out of home and industrial markets and owns successful retail and out of home brands.
Role:
This commercial role will drive and manage a strategic plan for a new range of ‘Ready to Drink’ products, across a set of Retail and OOHN accounts to achieve listings across all sales channels, which in turn will increase and grow market share to exceed business expectations and personal targets.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Senior National Account Manager for Retail you will identify, target and convert retail and out of home accounts, both new customers and also from our existing customer base.
- Proactively increase awareness of UCC Coffee RTD products using your extensive network of industry contacts with all relevant major national accounts.
- Secure listings, drive distribution and deliver profitability for UCC Coffee and understand the main drivers of a P&L and be able to create interventions to the benefit of the Company.
- Develop existing accounts, promoting the UCC Coffee portfolio to deliver new products into a fast growing sector of the market.
- Be an expert networker internally and externally, driving the contact strategy agenda, to touch a number of departments: Buyers, Procurement teams (includes Purchasing at European level), Marketing, Supply Chain, Export and Technical.
- Be able to review statistical reports to identify business opportunities to achieve the appropriate targeted business mix, revenue and margins on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
- Work closely with internal commercial, operational and technical teams to deliver first class customer service.
- Have a complete understanding of all the sales, business development and support opportunities within the cold coffee and soft drinks market and use this information to formulate a new business strategy.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- A tenacious, self-starter who will go the extra mile to deliver results
- Ambitious and talented individual who demonstrates drive and entrepreneurialism
- Holds a solid track record of developing new business
- Commercially astute with new product activation and soft drinks experience (desirable)
- Dynamic and creative problem solver when there is no precedent/solution
- Commercially aware with strong influencing, financial and negotiating skills.
- Fluid presenter with the ability to communicate strategies and solutions at all levels
- Proactive networker and enjoys working collaboratively with a geographically dispersed team
