Catman Jobs are currently recruiting for a Category Manager to join a successful and growing retail and foodservice business, based in the South Coast.

The Business 

The business is a marketleader within the industry, providing quality chilled food products to retail and foodservice groups. The business operates in a high volume category with its products purchased up and down the country. Operating across an ever expanding category, our client is a big player in this market.

The Role

The role will involve working closely with the Commercial team whilst analysing and interpreting market data. You will be required to identify and target areas for growth and suggest solutions of how to drive that success. You will be required to regularly present to and influence senior team members in order to ensure effective communication across the business.

The Individual 

This role will suit a driven and analytical individual, with the enthusiasm and motivation to work in a fast-pased, growing business. Excellent inter-personal skills will be required, in order to thrive in this customer focused and facing environment. In addition to experience of a wide range of data sources - for example Kantar - it is essential that you have experience within the chilled food sector.
