Due to their accelerated growth there is now an opportunity to join them in a new Board role overseeing the sales, procurement and marketing functions of the business.

The focus will be to drive a strong commercial strategy and shape the business for the next stage of its development. You will inspire and lead the team to develop innovative procurement strategies delivering sales, margin and availability targets.

Naturally they are looking to bring someone in who will focus on understanding their customers and constantly meeting their needs. 

The successful candidate will:

• Be graduate qualified
• Have a strong track record of commercial success in the FMCG / wholesale / retail environments
• Be currently working in a senior commercial role within a fast paced retailer, wholesaler, cash & carry operator or similar organisation
• Have an entrepreneurial approach
• Have an analytical mind yet also thrive on finding new opportunities 
• Bring strategic vision and robust leadership
• Be commercially astute and have an excellent understanding of how to drive continuous improvement

The salary is negotiable around the figure quoted; there is an attractive bonus and a full range of benefits.
