Better Placed Recruitment are working closely with a blue-chip FMCG businesses based in South East England who are looking for a proven FMCG sales professional to join their high performing commercial team.
Our client is a category leading food manufacturer with a portfolio of household brand names and large own label offering available in all major retailers and foodservice channels. Due to continued growth and an internal promotion, the business is looking for a Senior National Account Manager who will take full p&l responsibility for one of their largest UK Grocery Multiple accounts.
As a Senior National Account Manager you will be responsible for:
- Managing full p&l responsibility for top 4 grocery customer
- Negotiating and creating JBP with customer
- Implementing all pricing and promotion strategies
- Introducing NPD and innovation
- Communicating cross-functionally other internal functions (e.g. category, brand, shopper, technical)
- Building strong customer relationships and attending regular customer meetings
- Supporting and mentoring a small team
The ideal candidate will be of graduate calibre and have a successful track record within a similar blue-chip FMCG environment. Current top 4 grocery experience is essential. Experience of man-management would be a benefit however is not compulsory.
The role is office based in South East England with regular travel to customer and multiple sites in UK.
